For the Tonality album, one strategy I relied on to make sure my mixing didn’t influence my mastering ears was not to work on my dedicated mastering station at The Bakery. I mixed in-the-box at home with my personal laptop. The one exception to taking my mixes at The Bakery is when I’m working on mix revisions with the producer, Peter Rutenberg, and conductor, Dr. Alexander Blake. Regardless, this strategy has helped me keep my listening perspective in check

Peace is a concept of societal friendship and harmony in the absence of hostility and violence. In a social sense, peace is commonly used to mean a lack of conflict (such as war) and freedom from fear of violence between individuals or heterogeneous (relatively foreign or distinct) groups. Such behavioral restraint has often resulted in the reduction of conflicts, greater economic interactivity, and consequently substantial prosperity. The avoidance of war or violent hostility can be the result of thoughtful active listening and communication that enables greater genuine mutual understanding and therefore compromise.

Disturbing the Peace is the second studio album by the American heavy metal band Alcatrazz, and is the only one featuring Steve Vai on guitar. The album remained for 7 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart, peaking at No. 145. The album was re-released in 2001 as Vo. 2 of Steve Vai's The Secret Jewel Box and as a remastered, expanded version with a different cover in 2013 on Polish label Metal Mind. All songs by Graham Bonnet and Steve Vai, except where noted.

When I'm not doing schoolwork, film making or acting, I play and listen to music. I've been studying upright bass and bass guitar for a long time and I love just taking out my standup, putting on some jazz songs, (most likely a Charles Mingus tune) and jamming away. I love improvising and the freedom it gives me. You are an accomplished musician and singer, but what is your true passion? I think my true passion is connecting with people through the arts. I know that's vague, but I couldn't pick one thing that I love more than the other. They're all different and I get. Going to the UN is such an incredible experience and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to be an active participant in the global peace movement. I also want to say how grateful I am to Arun Gandhi for being such an amazing support and inspiration.

He elaborates, stating: "We just spoke. I kind of go through probably on a way smaller scale because I'm not at that level in my career where he is but I think there's a lot of similarities between us as people that we probably just never thought was there before but at the end of the day it is, so that was a good moment".

When risks arise in her partner’s pregnancy with triplets, Amber Leventry discovers that letting go of one life doesn’t have to mean losing faith, or love. Illustration by Katie Kosma. When we were still just girlfriends, college students living together illegally in an off-campus condo, my partner and I used to tell each other, I’m going to marry you someday. In 1999, we were still in college and knew the post-graduation ceremony we wanted to have would only be valid in the eyes of friends and some family.
