June 1, 2018 – Patrice’s song Idaho has been named a finalist in the Jane Titland Memorial Songwriting contest. This next Labor Day Patrice will join 10 other finalists who will compete for awards at the Tumbleweed Music Festival in Richland Washington. The song was inspired by the story Patrice’s husband told her over dinner about the many photographs seen in the house. A class act. The real deal – Seldovia Summer Solstice Music Festival. A song lamenting the loss of a life long love.

Alex Webb became a full member of Magnum Photos in 1979. His work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, Geo Magazine. His most recent books are La Calle: Photographs from Mexico and the collaboration Slant Rhymes with Rebecca Norris Webb.

Straight from the Heart is the seventh studio album by American recording artist Patrice Rushen, released on April 14, 1982, by Elektra Records. It features her most recognizable song, "Forget Me Nots", the oft-sampled "Remind Me" and the popular instrumental workout "Number One". Straight from the Heart scored Rushen her first two nominations at the 1983 Grammy Awards for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for "Forget Me Nots" and Best R&B Instrumental Performance for "Number One".

Muriel Webb Treman (1899-1991) was an American missionary and educator who worked in Nanjing and Canton, China, with the Methodist Mission Board and YMCA from 1919 through 1950. This digitized photo album documents her voyage to China with her parents, Lew and Ella Webb; missionary work with her husband Robert in Nanjing; and travels through China and Japan with her family in the early 1920s.
