This four-song EP features "Mirage" (also included on Beat Off), the indispensable "Surf Goddess," and a cover of the Undertones' "I Can't Get Over You" - a great Ramones ripoff made even better in the hands of these Ramones ripoff artists. Joe King/Queer once said, "I could never understand why people can't love Black Flag and the Beach Boys and Lesley Gore"; on Surf Goddess, the Queers do their best job thus far of synthesizing the sound of these three artists.

The Queers' cover of "Wipe Out" was featured in the 2007 Columbia Pictures and ImageWorks Studios mockumentary film Surf's Up, produced by Sony Pictures Animation and National Geographic Films. Surf Goddess is an EP by the American punk rock band the Queers, released in February 1995 by Lookout! Records. It marked the return of longtime drummer Hugh O'Neill to the band, after a forced leave of absence to deal with heroin addiction.
