Perfil: As the front man for Falling Forward and seminal emo torchbearers Elliott - the band in which he spent most of his adult life - Chris Higdon's voice was (and remains) the quintessential prototype. Variations of the Louisville native's magnetic delivery continues to crop up in young groups hoping to achieve even a sliver of the respect and adoration those progenitors earned within the scene. the other members' earlier efforts. Much like the city it calls home, Frontier(s) is hopelessly Midwestern. Louisville never accepted east or west coast definitions of post-anything, and the quartet is no different.

Frontier(s) is a Band from Louisville, Kentucky. Ex-Elliott Singer/Guitarist Chris Higdon is now with Matt Wieder (Mouthpiece, Automatic) and Eagle (Stay Gold). Higdon had planned to start Frontier(s) in 2003 while winding down Elliott. Instead of rushing into his new project, Higdon recruited bassist Bryan Todd and began writing songs. Meanwhile, he got used to life outside of a band - he got married and started a photography business.

Plains is the eleventh album of pianist George Winston and eighth solo piano album, released in 1999. It was his first studio album consisting of original compositions since 1994's Forest. According to Winston, "this album is inspired by the plains and its people. The four seasons there have always been my deepest source of inspiration. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA on January 12, 2000. It was reissued in 2013 by Valley Entertainment with Dancing Cat Records

Frontier(s)’ new five-song EP White Lights is a heavy, melodic offering that takes the best of late 80s and early 90s indie rock, contemporary punk bands like Banquets, years of listening to Steady Diet of Nothing and the pedigree of four grown up hardcore kids, and it is one of the most outstanding rock 'n' roll records released so. far this year. If someone is willing to put a record out then we release an album. With your songwriting, it’s always felt like a natural next creative step rather than some kind of forced attempt to reinvent yourself. Do you have any plans to tour for White Lights? What's next for you and Frontier(s)? We play in Louisville quite a bit but we have a week’s worth of shows coming up in August on the east coast and plan on touring Europe hopefully early next year, with a new seven-inch as well.
