Scott F. Hall has experimented with sound as an art form for exhibition since 1985. Originally, he worked with analog recording processes. On this CD, Hall presents 19 pieces of over 30 minutes duration using digital multitrack recording technology and a variety of instruments. His work is multiply layered, diverse in musical reference, and rich in tone, timbre, and texture. Hall's "Scultura Sana" is harmonious, picturesque, and quite listenable.
