Denai Moore prides herself on the fact that her music is impossible to pigeonhole into a single genre. Today, the 23-year-old Londoner releases her sophomore album, We Used To Bloom, which she claims was inspired in equal parts by Beyoncé and St. Vincent. Produced and engineered by Steph Marziano, the album documents her deepest and darkest thoughts; lead single Trickle was born out of a difficult spell of anxiety following the release of her 2015 debut album Elsewhere, while Leave It Up To You is about addressing the unspoken rifts in a relationship. Moore is renowned for her unpredictable pairings with other songwriters, and made a name for herself with features on songs by dance music producers like SBTRKT, Mura Masa and Mr. Mitch.
