TITLE added to MP3 cart. Sticks & Stones - The Lost Album. Since I am not a Johnny Thunders aficionado, I do not know the exact stories on circumstances behind the songs on this disc. The first eight tracks are listed as studio numbers from 1990; I would presume these constitute the "lost album" portion of the disc. If so, the album could have stayed lost with no injustice committed to the Thunders discography. Some of the songs ("Help the Homeless," "Children are People") demonstrate a healthy social conscience, but the lyrics ("Children are people, too/They're just like me and you") could have stood more.
Sticks and Stones (stylized as Sticks + Stones for its European release and Sticks & Stones for its North American and Australian release) is the debut studio album by English recording artist Cher Lloyd. It was released on 4 November 2011, through Syco Records. Lloyd co-wrote five songs and worked with various producers and songwriters for her first full-length release, including The Runners, Kevin Rudolf, and Savan Kotecha, among others. Lloyd herself called the album a "jukebox.

Beset by internal arguments the band split soon after and Thunders released his first solo album So Alone, with Phil Lynott, Chrissie Hynde, Steve Marriott and Paul Cook and Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols. He later reformed the Heartbreakers with different personnel, working closely with former MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer on the 1990 album Gang War. He also performed with The Oddballs before his sudden, apparently drug-related death in 1991, although he was also said to be suffering from leukemia at the time. In 1978 producer Steve Lillywhite entered the studio with Johnny Thunders and a cast of musical reprobates. Joining Thunders were Sex Pistols' Steve Jones and Paul Cook; Only Ones' Peter Perrett and Mike Kellie; Hot Rods Steve Nicol and Paul Gray; Phil Lynott, Steve Marriott, Patti Palladin, Chrissie Hynde. Even former Heartbreakers Walter Lure and Billy Rath joined the party for a spirited romp through The Shangri-La’s Great Big Kiss. It also features You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory, later covered by Guns N' Roses and Hollywood Vampires. On the surface this album does go some way to redress that - but then you look at the talent involved and realise that this a shambolic drug-fuelled showbiz album rather than a lost punk classic. The cover of Pipeline gets things off to a good start, but this is largely down to the fact that it is a fast paced instrumental.
