Agreeable Bright Fun Innocent Romantic Springlike Summery Yearning. A 70-track set of hits from female pop singers of the 1960s and early '70s, this generous package includes classic girl group sides like the Ronettes' "Be My Baby" and the Crystals' "Then He Kissed Me," and certainly most of the selections collected here are from girl groups, but the net is cast just a little bit wider than that. as well, and includes sides like country singer Lynn Anderson's "Rose Garden" and Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee. The end result is a fun listen, if not exactly an exhaustive survey of the era.

Essential listening for the 60s classic songs sung by a wide range of girl groups and solo female vocalists. 95% remastered quality recordings though several on each disc with lesser quality (and much lower volume). Such joyous songs with a few sad ones, it's no wonder Amy Winehouse was obsessed with this era. My 9 year old dances along to these and great to hear some quality songs I was too young to recall from the original years. Great running order too. My only ciriticism is the inclusion of a few 70s and 50s era tunes that could easily have been avoided. Oh and the lack of any historical review or liner notes. Otherwise closer to a 5!
