Origin is the first demo album by the American rock band Evanescence. It was self-released in 2000 approximately 50 copies were made.
Origin is the debut studio album by death metal band Origin. The album has a rawer, more straightforward and more brutal sound than their more technical later albums. The album was the first death metal album released on a label to incorporate the use of gravity blasts, although their original drummer George Fluke used the gravity blast on their 1998 EP A Coming into Existence.
Origin’s eponymous 2000 debut is just like any album with said band’s name on it in that it is primarily centered around trapkit surgeon John Lengstreth who uncorks an endless stream of insane, brain-rewiring (if, albeit, heavily triggered) gravity blasts. But with that said, Origin also utilize extremely complex guitar and bass lines, careening rhythms, and Dying Fetus-esque grooves. A vocalist who uses an array of high/low vocal stylings (ranging from visceral growls/bellows to high-pitched shrieks) is also another tool in the band’s arsenal.
Origin, origins, or original may refer to: Origin (comics), a Wolverine comic book mini-series published by Marvel Comics in 2002. Origins (Judge Dredd story), a major Judge Dredd storyline running from 2006 through 2007. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, a 2002 manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. Secret Origins, a comic book series published by DC Comics that told the origins of different characters. Wolverine: Origins, a Marvel Comics series. Origin (TV series), 2018 science-fiction TV series.
队列表 Metal Evanescence Origin. Band Name Evanescence.
Origin is the demo album by Evanescence, released on 4 November 2000. Only 2,500 copies were originally made. Amy Lee said: Origin is a collection of our best home made recordings as of 2001 (I think. Maybe 200. Anyway, back then we were still finding ourselves- learning how to write. Amy does not consider this an album, but rather a collection of demos that they dressed up to send to different major labels. The album contains early versions of songs found on Fallen: My Immortal, Imaginary and Whisper. Listen to the Rain was originally to be on the album, but never made the final cut. The song was directed by Lee and performed by her high school choir.
There are two tiers of membership, Basic and Premier. A 10% discount on Origin digital purchases including full games, expansions, points packs and more.
The Evanescence debut album Origin on the independent Bigwig Enterprises label was limited to 2500 copies due to legal reasons when the band signed to Wind-Up Records. Songs on later releases with the same titles as below are re-recordings of the originals on this album. This album initially contained a 12th track called "Listen To The Rain", but that track was removed from the album at the last moment before release, supposedly because the band was unsatisfied with the choir that sung the song
