Exclusive Prime pricing. 22 Grand Old Gospel 2004. This new album was certainly a pleasant surprise, though. Porter's voice on this project is truly awe-inspiring, full of that experienced and aged character that demonstrates why this man's music has endured, through good and not so good. This double-CD project is very well-recorded and his arrangements of these fine old Country Gospel songs are top-notch. This album has become one I listen to on an almost daily basis, and it is truly an inspiration to hear Porter's voice used with such power and control. King Of Country Gospel.
