Almost Blue" is a song recorded by English group Elvis Costello and the Attractions from their sixth studio album, Imperial Bedroom (1982). It was released on 2 July 1982 along with the rest of Imperial Bedroom, and would later be included on side two of The Best of Elvis Costello and the Attractions (1985).
The Ritz, when they made their first recording in 1985, were a bop-oriented vocal trio consisting of Daryl Bosteels, Sharon Broadley and Mickey Freeman (backed by a rhythm section which included Bosteels on piano). By 1991, there were four vocalists in the group, including Bosteels, Melissa Hamilton, Val Hawk (doubling on guitar) and Christopher Humphrey. This CD also includes Fred Haas on alto and tenor saxophones, along with plenty of guest spots for flugelhornist Clark Terry.

The Ritz in Moscow, as first glance seems like a real Ritz, but after a good look around, it is obviously not. That is not to say it is bad, overall the hotel is fine, service almost Ritz like, seemed to have the proper mattresses. The view out the window onto Tverskaya at night was quite nice. The parking is cramped, but at least there is parking in a city that lacks it.
