The Nylons is the debut album from the Canadian a cappella quartet The Nylons released on Attic Records. The platinum-selling album contains their cover version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", and other hit songs as well as the group members' own compositions. The Nelons are an American southern gospel group based in Atlanta, Georgia. Group members are Kelly Nelon Clark, Her husband Jason Clark, and Kelly's daughters Amber Nelon Thompson and Autumn Nelon Clark  . They became known as the Rex Nelon Singers in 1976 because the Lefevre family members had left the group. The group's first number-one song was "Come Morning" on the Singing News Chart, and was awarded the Southern Gospel Song of the Decade for the 1980s. Another widely recognizable song by the group is "We Shall Wear a Robe and Crown

The Nelons always strive to pioneer new markets, such as the concept video of 'Excuse Me, Are You Jesus?' taking home the prestigious New York People's Choice TELLY Award. Already in production is a major music-set-to-film piece entitled, 'The Awakening,' in which the group will be filming on location in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
