Sloppy Seconds is a diamond. The crusty album title and goofy cover photo obscure the searing vocals, rhapsodic harmonies and clever guitar riffs and licks. Twelve Shel songs are wonderfully interpreted and performed by Dr. The songs range from vulgar but funny to heartbreaking ballads. Freakin' at the Freakers' Ball" is one of the most shocking and disgusting songs I've ever heard.
