Hive Mind is the third studio album by rock band Sinch, released on March 20, 2012. At the start of 2009, Sinch started work on a fan-funded album, since they were no longer supported by a record label. They began recording in June of the same year, but due to the band members also holding down full-time jobs recording would take around 2 years to complete. By August 2011 the album was in the mixing stage and the release was being planned.
Hive Mind by OHMU, released 21 November 2013 1. OHMU 2. INRO 3. APEX 4. BIRTH,LIFE,DEATH 5. IN HELL 6. HARPIES 7. ORIGIN OHMU is an experimental noisy band from Austria. OHMU’s second ablum: Hive Mind is released by the branch of Thanatology Productions: Without Sunlight Productions. OHMU is known for their heavy sound which mixes noise, ambient, jazz and avant-garde rock into one thick composition.
Their fourth album, Hive Mind, is an act of collective conviction. It simplifies and shores up the Internet sound with soft-focus blues, plush arrangements, and deep-in-the-ground grooves. The beats are shapelier, more boldly defined, and yet they still have the capacity to bleed into each other. They gon’ get us to come together, a chorus of voices sings on the album’s opening song, each utterance louder than the one before. And just as the title implies, they are more in sync here than ever
