Somethin' Else" is a song by the rockabilly musician Eddie Cochran, co-written by his girlfriend Sharon Sheeley and his elder brother Bob Cochran, and released in 1959. It has been covered by a wide range of artists, including the Sex Pistols, who scored a number 3 hit with it in the UK Singles Chart in 1979.

Ray Edward Cochran (/ˈkɒkrən/; October 3, 1938 – April 17, 1960) was an American musician. Cochran's rockabilly songs, such as "Twenty Flight Rock", "Summertime Blues", "C'mon Everybody" and "Somethin' Else", captured teenage frustration and desire in the mid-1950s and early 1960s. He experimented with multitrack recording, distortion techniques, and overdubbing even on his earliest singles. He played the guitar, piano, bass, and drums

Westened
In my opinion this is a generous excellent overview of the young man's career. It includes his great rock songs, a fine tribute song called Three Stars, thoughtful pop songs like I Remember, along with the teen oriented songs he did well. Lastly check out the unreleased at the time Milk Cow Blues, the song and especially his guitar is fierce, it surely would have had the police chasing his tail all over town!
