Subterranea is a double album by British progressive rock band IQ, which was released in 1997. Subterranea is about a man who's been the subject of an experiment. He's been held captive, almost like sensory deprivation, throughout his whole life and he doesn't have any contact with the outside world (Provider).

Gianluigi Gasparetti (26 March 1958 – 12 April 2013), known by the pseudonym Oöphoi, was an Italian ambient musician. Oöphoi's music can be characterized as being static, organic and minimalistic.
