Bayley Hazen Blue is drier than most blues, and the penicillium roqueforti takes a back seat to an array of flavors that hint at nuts and grasses and sometimes licorice. Bayley Hazen Blue won a 2nd place ribbon at the American Cheese Society 2005 Competition in Louisville, KY. Farm/Company: Jasper Hill Cheesemaker: Mateo and Andy Kehler Proprietor: Affineur: City, State: Greensboro, Vermont Cheese Made from Cow Milk.
BAYLEY - Bayley Hazen Blue is a Jasper Hill Farm original, and is made from our high-quality whole raw milk. It is named for an old military road commissioned by George Washington during the Revolutionary War. Though no major battle ever took place, the road brought Greensboro its first settlers and continues to be used today. SENSORY NOTES - Bayley has developed a loyal following because of its fudge-like texture, toasted-nut sweetness, and anise spice character. The paste is dense and creamy, with well-distributed blue veins. The usual peppery character of blue cheese is subdued, giving way.
Black & Blue is the fourth studio album (third in the US) by American vocal-pop group Backstreet Boys. It was released on November 21, 2000 by Jive Records. It is their follow-up album to their 1999 studio release Millennium. The album recorded the best international sales in a week for an album in history by selling over 5 million copies in its first week of sales globally.
This natural-rind blue uses the same mold cultures as French Roquefort, but the flavors come as much from the high-quality milk as they do from the blue: nutty, herbaceous and chocolaty, with a licorice finish. Dry and crumbly, it has the velvety, melt-in-your-mouth texture of chilled butter.
