Work 1989–2002 is a compilation album released by the British electronica duo Orbital in 2002, featuring a selection of singles and rare tracks from their career together. Work was Orbital's final album for the FFRR record company. Chime", "Choice", "Satan" and "Belfast" were previously released (in different forms) on the US version of Orbital (1991). The version of "Satan" was released on the Spawn soundtrack. Lush", "Impact" and "Halcyon" appeared on the Brown Album.

Work 1989-2002 ‎(CD, Comp, Jew). WEA Japan, Warner Music Japan, FFRR, London Records. A good collection of tracks spanning over a decade but sadly some of Orbital's best work is missing. The obvious classics are Chime and Belfast, beautifully simple tracks yet so addictive an you never get bored of hearing them. Halcyon is also up there as one of the better tracks along with Impact, but for me three or four tracks don't deserve to be on what is basically a 'Best Of' album. 글 답글 1개 보기 나에게 알림 1 Helpful.

Techno's best albums act finally gets their very own singles collection, though the results fall just short of displaying the brilliance and grandeur of Orbital's decade of great work. Fortunately, about 75 percent of Work 1989-2002 turns out exactly as it should: great versions of their best material, including their 1990 breakout "Chime" and the parade of excellent singles like "Halcyon and On and On," "Lush," "Belfast," "Impact," and "Are We Here?
