Chava Alberstein (Hebrew: חוה אלברשטיין, born December 8, 1946 in Poland) is an Israeli singer, lyricist, composer, and musical arranger. Chava Alberstein, born in Szczecin, Poland, moved to Israel with her family in 1950. She grew up in Kiryat Haim. In 1964, when she was 17, she was invited to appear at the Hammam Nightclub in Jaffa. She sang four songs accompanied by herself on guitar and her brother Alex on the clarinet. The program was broadcast live on the radio
My Own Way is the second studio album by British Contemporary R&B singer Jay Sean, released 12 May 2008 on Jayded Records and 2Point9 Records. Recording sessions took place from 2006 to 2009. Production was handled by Jay Sean and several other recording producers, including Jared Cotter, J remy, and DJ Swivel, including others. The album peaked at number six on the UK Albums Chart.

Folk and pop singer-guitarist Chava (also Hava) Alberstein is one of Israel's most important, respected, and prolific entertainers; one of the few Israeli artists whose popularity spans decades both in her native country and abroad. In 1995 she wrote the lyrics and music for most of the songs in Derekh Akhat (My own way), which was produced by Ilan Wurtzberg. This rock-flavored album included a protest song named "Gitara Khadisha" (New guitar).
