No man could have torn the veil in this fashion. It was definitely God that rent the veil. The time when this veil was rent corresponds exactly with the moment Jesus died. Jesus tore the veil, that is to say His flesh (Heb. 10:20), in two and opened up a new way unto God through Himself. When Jesus died, the veil was torn, and God moved out of that place never again to dwell in a temple made with hands (Acts 17:24). God was through with that temple and its religious system, and the temple and Jerusalem were left desolate (destroyed by the Romans) in . 70, just as Jesus prophesied in Luke 13:35. As long as the temple stood, it signified the continuation of the Old Covenant. Hebrews 9:8-9 refers to the age that was passing away as the new covenant was being established (Hebrews 8:13)

And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. From the Bible, we know that the death of Jesus is a glorious truth, foundational to our Christian faith. It grants us peace with God (Romans 5:1), redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14). Integral to interpreting the tearing of the veil is some explanation of its purpose and function. Surprisingly, few interpreters look explicitly to the Old Testament to address this issue. Yet we find some information about the veil that is imperative for interpreting the meaning of its tearing at the death of Jesus. As we have seen, the unique workmanship required for the veil is directly related to the presence of cherubim on the veil.

Beyond the Veil is the second full-length album by the Norwegian band Tristania. It is the last album to feature the band's former vocalist, guitarist and core songwriter, Morten Veland. Tristania stood apart from the other bands of the genre with their use of three distinct vocal styles in the "operatic soprano Vibeke Stene, clean-singing counter-tenor Østen Bergøy, and harsh, black metal-style shrieker Morten Veland".

Pierce The Veil are currently working on the follow-up to 2012's colossal 'Collide With The Sky'. In the new issue of Rock Sound, we catch up with frontman Vic Fuentes to find out what fans can expect this time round They haven’t gone and made a bizarre instrumental concept album or anything this time around; it’s still reassuringly straight-up PTV so fans will be happy. We always try not to do anything too left-field or anything that’s too drastic a change," Vic tells us, "so it still very much sounds like what people. Pierce The Veil's as-yet-untitled fourth album is due to drop some time in early 2015.
