Returns is a live album by the fusion band Return to Forever. Released in 2009 by Eagle Records, it is the first recording by the band after a hiatus of 32 years. Also in 2009 a video recording of the band's live performances from the "Returns" tour at Montreux, Switzerland and (bonus material) Clearwater, Florida was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment as Return to Forever – Returns: Live at Montreux 2008. Opening Prayer" (Chick Corea) – 2:03. Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy" (Corea) – 3:43.
Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger has experienced both. On January 15, 2009, Sully made the decision to land the crippled aircraft of US Airways flight 1549 right into a river an event immediately labeled "Miracle on the Hudson". Surprisingly, this is the first film collaboration for Tom Hanks and director Clint Eastwood. Both have cinematic experience with true life stories and real people: Hanks most recently in Captain Phillips and Bridge of Spies; and Clint with American Sniper and J. Edgar. This one is the perfect fit as Hanks takes on a good man who takes pride in doing.
Now boarding: Laura Linney is joining the cast of Sully, the Clint Eastwood-directed biopic starring Tom Hanks as the veteran pilot who safely landed a damaged jetliner on the frigid waters of the Hudson River in 2009. Linney is to play Lorrie Sullenberger, wife of Capt. Chelsey Sully Sullenberger III (Hanks), EW has confirmed. Deadline first reported the news. The Sully movie will mark Linney’s third on-screen collaboration with Eastwood, following the whodunit Mystic River and the political thriller Absolute Power. Her casting comes a week after the news that Aaron Eckhart will play Jeff Skiles, the first officer and co-pilot on the plane, in the Warner Bros.
Linney will star alongside Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhardt. Laura Linney is being lined up for a role in Clint Eastwood’s forthcoming film Sully. According to Deadline reports, the actress – who previously worked with Eastwood on Absolute Power and Mystic River – is currently agreeing a deal to co-star in the film alongside Tom Hanks.
Sully meanwhile was equally suave in his suit as he posed for the cameras with his wife Lorrie, who is played by Laura Linney in Clint Eastwood's film. Aaron Eckhart was also in attendance, with the star playing First Officer Jeff Skiles in the film. The Tom Hanks led film dramatises Captain Sullenberger's dramatic emergency landing of Flight 1549 in 2009 into New York's Hudson River on a frozen January day. Real life hero: Captain Sullenberger was joined by his wife Lorrie, who is played by Laura Linney in Clint Eastwood's film. Fancy seeing you here! Tom and Captain Sully warmly greeted one another on the red carpet.
Clint Eastwood’s latest movie, Sully, is about a man who is excellent at his job. Specifically, it tells the story of Capt. Chesley Sullenberger and how, on a frigid January afternoon in 2009, he came to land a plane on the Hudson River. The movie is economical and solid, and generally low-key when it’s not freaking you out. That it unnerves you as much as it does may seem surprising, given that going in, we know how this story ends. But Mr. Eastwood is also very good at his job, a talent that gives the movie its tension along with an autobiographical sheen.
