María de Montserrat Viviana Concepción Caballé i Folch (Catalan: ; 12 April 1933 – 6 October 2018) was a Spanish operatic soprano. She sang a wide variety of roles, but is best known as an exponent of the works of Verdi and of the bel canto repertoire, notably the works of Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti.

Montserrat Caballe, Dame Sutherland and Leontyne Price are also featured. The Divas are varied including Cecilia Bartolli (unsurpassed in my judgment), Leontyne Price, Joan Sutherland, and others. There is not a track on the entired disc that I do not care for! Wish I had bought this earlier, I keep pulling it out of my collection and enjoying it over and over again. I am an opera student, and I bought this to serve as encouragement. It's a fantastic collection of some of the great divas. I highly recommend it.

Maria Callas (2 December 1923 – 16 September 1977) was a famous and controversial opera singer of the 20th century. Some say I have a beautiful voice, some say I have not. It is a matter of opinion. All I can say, those who don't like it shouldn't come to hear me. Television interview with Norman Ross, Chicago (17 November 1957). I admire Tebaldi's tone; it's beautiful - also some beautiful phrasing. Sometimes, I actually wish I had her voice.
