Teresa Brewer (born Theresa Veronica Breuer, May 7, 1931 – October 17, 2007) was an American singer whose style incorporated country, jazz, R&B, musicals, and novelty songs. She was one of the most prolific and popular female singers of the 1950s, recording nearly 600 songs. Brewer was born in Toledo, Ohio, the eldest of five siblings. Her father was a glass inspector for the Libbey Owens Company (now part of Pilkington Glass), and her mother was a housewife.

Mr.Death
The Greatest Hits (1-12) are 1962 Philips label rerecordings. If You Want Some Lovin' was a little-known 1951 London label single that she felt like re-offering and it suits her well. Ballad Of Lovers' Hill was a new 1962 Philips recording which only charted in Australia. These recordings were well done. The Don't Mess With Tess album (13-24) was from 1962 on the Coral label, and it is jazz-pop oriented. 25-28 are from her Terrific Teresa album, and 25 and 28 were also 1963 singles.
