Little Feat is an American rock band formed by singer-songwriter, lead vocalist and guitarist Lowell George and keyboardist Bill Payne in 1969 in Los Angeles.

ELECTRIF LYCANTHROPE is a must have for FEAT fans, and also a good example of what all the fuss is about for virgin FEATS as well. Repeated listens are recommended. I bought my copy from the band after a show in London - yes, it's a bootleg that the band was selling after the show.

Little Feat Live Ultrasonic Studios, Hempstead, NY September 19, 1974. Still unreleased and one of the best ever radio live performances. If you are wondering about the original bootleg title, my assumption is it means electric werewolf or shapeshifter hence the unusual artwork. sic) (see correct and detailed expanation below). 01 Rock and Roll Doctor 02 Two Trains 03 The Fan 04 On Your Way Down 05 Spanish Moon 06 Skin It Back 07 Fat Man In The Bath Tub 08 Oh Atlanta.

A year and a half later than their previous performance before a small audience at the Ultrasonic Studio, Hempstead this 1974 benefits from a broader song selection. At Archive.org a pre broadcast reel to reel was posted. Compared to the old vinyl bootleg lp 'Electrify Lycanthrope' (complete with Neon Park artwork) the fidelity is stunning. The performance is nothing less than spectacular. Check out '(When the shit hits) the Fan'. An essential part of Feat's legacy and not to be missed.
