The Greatest Show on Earth is a 1952 American drama film produced and directed by Cecil B. DeMille, shot in Technicolor, and released by Paramount Pictures. Set in the Ringling Bros.

The Greatest Show on Earth may refer to: Dan Rice's circus (1830s–1860s) was first described by an Arkansas paper as the "greatest show on earth". and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The Greatest Show on Earth", a song by metal band Machinae Supremacy. Greatest Show on Earth", a song by Michael Jackson on the 1972 Ben album. The Greatest Show on Earth", a song by metal band Nightwish on the 2015 album Endless Forms Most Beautiful.

Leslie Michele Derrough. Dawkins also contributes towards the album. Since one of the tracks would be named directly after one of his books, it felt like a perfect match to try to get him do some reciting on the album. Later in 2014 we then recorded his parts at Hats Off Studios, Oxford.

Perhaps the greatest live album ever recorded. From the breathless buildup of the spoken intro through terse, sweat-soaked early hits such as "Try Me" and "Think" into 11 minutes of the raw ballad "Lost Someone," climaxing with a frenzied nine-song medley and ending with "Night Train," Live at the Apollo is pure, uncut soul. And it almost didn't happen. Also known as the "primal scream" album, referring to the painful therapy that gave rise to its songs, Plastic Ono Band was John Lennon's first proper solo album and rock & roll's most self-revelatory recording. Lennon attacks and denies idols and icons, including his own former band ("I don't believe in Beatles," he sings in "God"), to hit a pure, raw core of confession that, in its echo-drenched, garage-rock crudity, is years ahead of punk.

Never judge a book by its cover, nor an album by its opening track. With its slippery bass, stilted beats and what sounds like an inebriated Mellotron slurring through a sing-song after a grand night out, the almost comedic Way Of Return provides no clue as to what lies ahead. While their last two releases were augmented by Swedish guitarist and sometime Motorpsycho and Dungen collaborator Reine Fiske, here keyboardist Ståle Storløkken, bassist Nikolai Hængsle and drummer Torstein Lofthus go back to power trio basics
