Migration is the third studio album by The Amboy Dukes. It was released in 1969 on Mainstream Records (stereo S/6118). On this album, Rusty Day replaced John Drake on vocals. The song "I'm Not a Juvenile Delinquent" is a cover of the 1956 song by Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers. A CD reissue was released in 1991 by Repertoire Records with two bonus tracks (REP 4178-WZ). The most prominent feature of Migration (the Amboy Dukes' third recording, originally released on Mainstream records) is the lack of a spaced-out follow-up to the group's biggest hit, "Journey to the Center of Your Mind. Perhaps "terrible" Ted Nugent was starting to win the drug war that was beginning to wage within the band, a war that would ultimately claim more than a few key lineup casualties

The Amboy Dukes is the first studio album released by The Amboy Dukes. It was released in November 1967 on Mainstream Records, the Amboy Dukes interested a record label that primarily produced jazz albums in their music. Nugent assembled a new band of the best local Detroit players to secure a contract with them. He immediately brought in the baritone voice of John Drake as lead vocalist. During the Migration Period the Germanic tribes expanded southward, beginning in the 10th century, German territories formed a central part of the Holy Roman Empire. During the 16th century, northern German regions became the centre of the Protestant Reformation, in 1871, Germany became a nation state when most of the German states unified into the Prussian-dominated German Empire.
