Edward Allan Clarke (5 October 1950 – 10 January 2018), better known as "Fast" Eddie Clarke, was a British guitarist who was a member of heavy metal bands Fastway and Motörhead. Of Motörhead's classic lineup, which consisted of Lemmy, himself and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, he was the last surviving member.
LONDON - Fast Eddie Clarke, the quick-fingered hard-rock guitarist who was the last remaining member of the British band Motörhead’s best-known lineup, died on Wednesday night in a hospital here. He was 67. Todd Singerman, the band’s manager, confirmed the death in a telephone interview. He was born Edward Allan Clarke, not Edward Allen Clark. Joe Coscarelli contributed reporting from New York.

Fast Eddie Clarke, the Motörhead guitarist featured on many of the band’s classic albums and a founding member of Fastway, died Wednesday. Edward Allan Clarke – or as we all know and love him Fast Eddie Clarke – passed away peacefully yesterday, the group wrote. Fast Eddi. eep roaring, rockin’ and rollin’ up there as goddamit man, your Motörfamily would expect nothing less!!! With Motörhead, Clarke played with loose, rock & roll abandon, as his guitar roared around frontman Lemmy Kilmister’s lead bass; his guitar solos were like Chuck Berry at 78 . He took that style in a more metallic direction with Fastway, a more commercial hard-rock band he formed with former UFO bassist Pete Way.

With Ralph Macchio, Joe Seneca, Jami Gertz, Joe Morton. Ralph Macchio is Lightning Boy. A kid who can make a slide guitar sing. Blind Dog is an old pro who knows it. Together, they're headed to a place where deals are made. And legends are born. Next . Trespass (1992). CROSSROADS (Walter Hill's Blues film, NOT Britney Spears' self-indulgent 2002 fluff) is a terrific introduction to a uniquely American 'sound', with a remarkable cast and southern 'atmosphere'. It has always astonished me that the film was not a hit when released, in 1986, but it's status as a cult classic is certainly well-deserved, with subsequent films like the Coens' O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? 'borrowing' the Robert Johnson subplot and many of the visual elements.
