AM/P. s the second project of Radovan Scasascia on Dreck-Records. Here he introduces yet another Intriguing concept to combine popular music and conceptual composing. AM/PM’s fi rst two releases (DRK-05/07) feature tracks composed mostly of final notes and humms recorded from the ends of existing pieces of music. Again a wide selection of source material is sampled here, but unlike with Secondo’s chop-choptechnique these tracks do not refer to their source material.

Play It Cool may refer to: Play It Cool (film), a 1962 British musical starring Billy Fury. Play It Cool" (song), by Super Furry Animals. Play It Cool (Wilber Pan album), 2007. Play It Cool (Lea DeLaria album), 2001. Play It Cool (radio show), a BBC Radio comedy from the 1960s. Play It Cool", a song by 7L & Esoteric from The Soul Purpose. Play It Cool", a song by George Jones from Grand Ole Opry's New Star. Play It Cool", a song by Grand Puba from 2000. Play It Cool", a song by Münchener Freiheit.

But what makes Playin' It Cool sound subpar is the erratic nature of the tracks. The production on several of these tunes sound antiquated in comparison to the super glossed production of the mid eighties; almost reminiscent of Schmit's tunes in the Eagles. It certainly doesn't help matters that many of his Southern California compadres (Henley, Carl Wilson, Joe Walsh and JD Souther) make guest appearances, leading to the notion that Playin' It Cool is an album that was several years in the making. It's not the worst of Eagles solo records, but it is certainly nowhere.
