The second of eight LP releases put out during 1962, the album was Jones twelfth overall studio release. It was Jones' eighth album release on the Starday label, though he wasn't signed to it at the time of the LP's production. It contains songs dated back to 1955 while with Starday, to his second hit with Mercury in 1960.
