Stoneshaper
Al Jolson was a Russian-born U.S. singer, songwriter and blackface comedian who performed in vaudeville and minstrel shows and starred in The Jazz Singer. This album was incredibly difficult to find, and once found, it unfortunately did not meet my expectations. Al Jolson's voice doesn't fully "click" for me the way many artists of his time did. I did very much enjoy the second song on this album, "When You Were Sweet Sixteen." Rating: 2
