Quark, Strangeness And Charm. Written-By – Brock, Calvert. ESD CD 664. Hawkwind. Anthology 1967-1982 (2xCD, Comp, RM). Essential.
The Hawkwind Anthology series of records were originally issued mid-1980s containing live and outtake material from Hawkwind's career to that date. Dave Brock compiled the package, essentially a best of The Weird Tapes, for release on the Samurai imprint. It was released as three separate discs and also as a picture disc box set including an interview disc. It was subsequently licensed to receiver records and eventually sold to Castle Communications who have released as an extended set.

No! OK, I'm not qualified to say whether this is a good compilation what comes to the track list itself (I have my doubts, because I didn't actually enjoy any track - in this form - enough to make a copy), but almost all material here are live recordings and, as I said, the sound quality is not very good.
Hawkwind is the self-titled debut album by Hawkwind, released in 1970, originally on Liberty Records, later reissued on Sunset Records. This album is historic since it is one of the first space rock LPs. The Pretty Things guitarist Dick Taylor, who was looking for a new venture after leaving the band, was pulled into Hawkwind playing some gigs and producing this album. After several unsuccessful attempts to capture the band's sound in the studio, it was decided simply to record it live in the studio.
Anthology 1967-1982 - Студийный альбом от Hawkwind. В альбом вошло 32 треков. Продолжительность альбома: 02:33:36. Watchfield Festival: We Do It, Brainstorm (intro) (live). Space Is Deep (live). Whose Gonna Win the War (live). World of Tiers (live). Hash Cake '77 (live).
Hawkwind are an English rock band, one of the earliest space rock groups. Missing lyrics by Hawkwind? Know any other songs by Hawkwind?
One more in that implausibly endless collection of Hawkwind outtake and live cut compilations, this package's attempt to at least offer a career-spanning view of the band is shattered, of course, by the sheer redundancy of the material contained therein
