Brocas Helm discography (all). lt; Black Death in Athens (2004). Clash of Iron Vol. I - Live at Keep It True (2007). Defender of the Crown.

Album Defender of the Crown. Defender Of The Crown Lyrics. Down from the Heavens, up from the sea They came looking, looking for me They'll never find me, I'll never tell The stories they've written, are rooted in Hell. Again comes a rider, His eyes burning red Sword to his side, Metal on head He is your savior, He'll save your soul Protect him well, Never let go. Somewhere there's someone who's looking for me And if he finds me I'll never be free Somewhere that someone he calls out my name Hand me a sword and I'll go insane DEFEND THE CROWN.

The album collects together two of Brocas Helm's impossible-to-find 7-inch releases, a 1989 demo called Helm's Deep, and features "Children of the Nova Dawn" which, although the band's first ever song, had never been recorded before Defender of the Crown. Cry of the Banshee" and "Drink the Blood of the Priest" were both featured in the metal-themed video game Brutal Legend, starring Jack Black. Defender of the Crown Brocas Helm. Released no less than 16 years after their second album, Defender of the Crown (2004) finds the fantasy metal godfathers picking up where they left off in 1988. Specifically, hammer-on guitars on top of hammer-on guitars, open-throated, mead-hall vocals and songs Iron Maiden would have no issue calling their own. As is characteristic for the band, a wry sense of humor tempers the earnestness and Bobbie Wright's guitar playing is never less than riveting.

Fulfilling for want of a better of a better word to listen.

Brocas Helm was an American epic metal band from San Francisco, CA. In 1984 they signed with First Strike for the USA and Steamhammer (Licensing deal through First Strike) for Europe. They released their first album, "Into Battle", but after some disagreements (for example about the cover used for "Into Battle" was used without consent of the band) they mutually agreed to end the relationship, even though Brocas Helm still had an obligation for one album.
