Earl Sutton is a character first encountered in Issue 95 of Image Comics' The Walking Dead. He is the blacksmith of Hilltop Colony, who provides gear and weaponry to the survivors. Several years after Rick Grimes' death, Earl left the Hilltop, retiring from his duties as a blacksmith, and moved to a cabin in the woods, next to the Grimes family. Nothing is known about Earl's life before or as the outbreak began, it is possible he was a blacksmith, as this is his profession at the Hilltop Colony.

Earl Klugh is the debut album by jazz guitarist Earl Klugh, released in 1976. Klugh is accompanied by Louis Johnson on bass and Lee Ritenour on guitar. All tracks written by Earl Klugh except where noted. Earl Klugh – acoustic and electric guitars. Chuck Findley, Oscar Brashear – trumpet, flugelhorn. Garnett Brown – trombone. Ray Pizzi – soprano saxophone. Pete Christlieb – tenor saxophone, flute. Jerome Richardson – baritone saxophone, flute.

Walking the Red Road is a native American term: "Walking the Red Road" is a determined act of living within the Creator's instructions. Basically, it is living a life of truth, humbleness, respect, friendship, and spiritually. ref Native American Commitment to Wellness and Respect Blog, David A. Patterson Silver Wolf). Presumably the new title came from that term.
