George Denis Patrick Carlin (May 12, 1937 – June 22, 2008) was an American stand-up comedian, actor, author, and social critic. He and his "seven dirty words" comedy routine were central to the 1978 . Supreme Court case . v. Pacifica Foundation, in which a 5–4 decision affirmed the government's power to regulate indecent material on the public airwaves.

Indecent Exposure was a 1970s compilation album from comedian George Carlin. It was his final release on the Little David label. A warning label that says R, Recommended Adult Listening appears on the cover of the album and this was an early example of warning people that albums contain questionable content before the Parental Advisory label was invented. Carlin makes reference to a dog named Tippy, Tippy was a female dog he had as a pet, referenced in several other of his skits throughout the years.
