It was released as the first single from his sixth studio album 18 on April 29, 2002. It reached number 11 in the UK Singles Chart. The song was also featured on the 2008 album Songs for Tibet an initiative to support Tibet, Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, and to underline the human rights situation in Tibet.
And there’s a reason for that. We are a way for the universe to know itself.
People they come together. Люди встречаются, People they fall apart. Потому что все мы сделаны из звезд. Slow slow slow, come come. Медленно, медленно, идет, идет. Someone come come come. Even love is going round.
Slow slow slow, come come Someone come come come Even love is going round You can't ignore what is going 'round. Slowly rebuilding I feel it in me Growing in numbers Growing in peace.
Anyone coming to the third Allo Darlin' album, We Come from the Same Place, looking for something new from them is likely to be disappointed. It's hard to say why anyone might want something different, though, since the first two albums were so good. Maybe it was someone fed up with intricately crafted indie pop. Or someone tired of hearing intimate and true songs about love, life, and how to deal with each.
Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead. Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb. It's a cool place and they say it gets colder You're bundled up now wait 'til you get older But the meteor men beg to differ Judging by the hole in the satellite picture. The ice we skate is getting pretty thin The water's getting warm so you might as well swim My world's on fire.
It's a well-tested theory," Impey said. On a basic quantum level, all the matter in the universe is essentially made up of stardust," he said. More recently, Symphony of Science, an artistic project headed by John Boswell and designed to deliver scientific knowledge though musical remixes, released "We Are All Connected.
The album was executive produced by Brooklyn beatmaker and Mixpak label owner Dre Skull, aka Andrew Hershey, who’s become an unlikely heavyweight in the Jamaican music scene thanks to jubilant compositions like the Kling Klang and Loudspeaker riddims. He also worked on Snoop Dogg’s reggae rebrand as Snoop Lion alongside Diplo and Ariel Rechtshaid, and Where We Come From feels like another attempt at doing what last year's Reincarnated failed to do: connect dancehall with an American pop audience that hasn’t seen an actual dancehall artist on the pop charts in years. Overall, Where We Come From isn’t animated by solemnity, or even the salaciousness that infuses Number One Freak and Love Yuh Bad, but an ecstatic joy that transcends genre.
