The present collection is only a part of the abundant solo piano production of the Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona Casado (Guanabacoa, Cuba, 1895 - Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, 1963), heir to the composers Manuel Saumell (1817-1870) and Ignacio Cervantes (1847-1905), who dedicated themselves to developing pianistic miniatures, especially of the dance, transforming it into the nationalist emblem

Afro-Cuban is an album by American jazz trumpeter Kenny Dorham. The first release of the album dates back to 1955 on 10" Vinyl, featuring only four tracks and having a different cover artwork.

The stage involves a majestic rainbow of movement, song and music that recreates popular Caribbean dances, Cuban modern dance, Afro-Cuban culture and new choreography directed by Danys La Mora Perez. Featured Cuban artists include Liethis Hechavarria (dancer), Alexander La Rosa (dancer, musician and choreographer), Maikel Castellanos (singer, dancer and musician) and Elvis Ferrera (dancer).

The Afro-Cuban dance movements, footwork and corporal expression learnt during the course, will enrich any other dance form that you might enjoy and will help you with your confidence, style and improvisation in the dance floor, especially with the core movements (roots) of many Cuban dances.
