America is an English-American folk rock band, that originally consisted of Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek. The three members were barely out of their teens, when they became a musical sensation during 1972, scoring No. 1 hits and winning a Grammy for best new musical artist.

Here, America perform live at the Sydney Opera House, bringing you their unique blend of rock, pop and folk. One person found this helpful. I have been an America fan since the release in 1972 of the self titled America album. They chose to start a majoirity of their album titles with an H if you noticed, starting with Homecoming. What happend to America? After 33 years they sould even better than ever despite th absence of Dan Peek.

Combining all their hits with plenty of surprises, LIVE AT THE SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE will have you rockin' and crusin' back down the "Ventura Highway. Now you can take your very comfortable front row seat at the Sydney Opera House as AMERICA bring you their unique mellow harmonics and appealing blend of rock, pop and folk. Relive the experience or finally catch the ocncert event you thought you's missed. Bunnell and Beckley are obviously the front men of the outfit, and on the night they were supported by Michael Woods on lead guitar, Richard Campbell on bass and long-serving drummer Willie Leacox. The group played two shows at the Opera House as part of their Australian tour, with both shows sold out. Audiio: English Dolby Digital . (448Kb/s) English dts . (768Kb/s) English Dolby Digital .
